Toho beads are produced by Toho Co. Limited, a Japanese company that produces very high quality beads ensuring maximum uniformity in shape and size. In Italian, the company name translates to "Oriental Treasure" and their beads can truly be considered a precious treasure! Rocailles beads, also known in Italy as conteria beads (in English they are called seed beads) are tiny round beads made of glass and used to make embroidery and jewelery with different bead weaving techniques. The Rocailles Toho 11/0 beads have a diameter of 2.1mm, the distance from hole to hole is 1.5mm. Toho differ from other Seed Beads due to the larger hole (which guarantees the passage of more threads inside the hole). The hole of the seed beads 11/0 is 0.8mm.
